Special Issues
eCM Special Issues focus on hot topics in research within the scope of eCM. The special issues have invited guest editors from the topic area and run within the focussed themes. eCM Special Issues allow both invited papers (including reviews, tutorial papers, and letters to the editor) and open submitted research papers. eCM adheres to the new standards for Special Issues set by DOAJ, and we encourage you to familiarize yourself with these standards before submitting to a Special Issue.
The Editors-in-Chief of eCM are responsible for the content of all Special Issues. All submissions, whether invited or open, undergo full peer review and will be clearly labeled as part of a Special Issue. Manuscripts for Special Issues can be submitted until the specified deadline and will be published immediately upon acceptance. The credentials of guest editors are verified and approved before they are invited to serve, and their work is overseen by the Editors-in-Chief. Papers submitted to a Special Issue by the guest editor(s) are managed through an independent review process, and submissions by guest editors should not exceed 25% of the total content of the issue.
